Easy Szechuan Shrimp and Broccoli Recipe

If you are craving for an Asian meal, try this Szechuan Shrimp and Broccoli recipe. This is very easy to make for lunch or dinner. This sweet and spicy recipe will satisfy your craving for a healthy Chinese food. You can adjust the flavor depending on your preference. If you want it to be sweeter, add more coconut sugar. Likewise, if you don’t like spicy food, then you can put less crushed red pepper.



Prep Time: 15-20 minutes     Cook Time: 20-25 minutes     Total Time: 35-45 minutes


  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1/2 lb or 1 bunch of Organic Broccoli
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 cup Organic Green Onion
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • a dash of black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp Crushed Red Pepper


  1. Boil the chopped broccoli for 5 minutes and set it aside
  2. Heat a medium pan and add the sesame oil, garlic, and ginger
  3. Fry until they are light brown and add the shrimp
  4. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, coconut sugar, black pepper, and crushed red pepper
  5. Stir and cook for 20 minutes
  6. Add the cooked broccoli and stir
  7. Serve with rice

Yields: 1 to 2 serving
