Paleo Twix Recipe – Healthy Snack

This Paleo Twix Recipe is great for anyone who’s craving for a healthy sweet snack.




Prep Time: 30 minutes             Cook Time: 10-15 minutes           Total Time: 40-45 minutes


For the short bread crust:

For the almond caramel filing:

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line 8×8” square pan with brown parchment paper
  2. Combine almond flour and salt in a bowl. Add the maple syrup and stir until fully combined. Add the solid coconut oil and mix it.
  3. Press the short bread mix into the prepared pan. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until slightly golden brown around the edges. Let cool completely.
  4. For the caramel filling: combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until all of the ingredients are melted and thoroughly combined. Pour it over to the cooled crust and let it sit for a few minutes. Then cool it in the refrigerator before topping with chocolate topping.
  5. For the chocolate topping: Mix all of the ingredients and pour over the cooled almond caramel layer. Smooth evenly. Let it cool again in the refrigerator. Slice into 1-inch slices, or 16 squares.
  6. Store it in the refrigerator.
